Amani Elbayoumi

Working in the realm of Impressionism, Egyptian painter, Amani Elbayumi employs a unique and diverse style to her work; using watercolor, oil, and acrylic combined with the utilization of mixed media to express her artistic self. Elbayumi’s extensive travel around the world and observing divergent cultures, inspire her work; each piece serving as a stop along the way on her quest of self discovery.

Inspired personally and artistically by the Emirate’s diverse cultural and natural environments, Elbayumi’s work often depicts Egyptian landscapes and the people they are inhabited by, as seen through an individual lens tinted with a touch of surrealistic color. Her understanding and unique style of portraying the Arab identity serves to unveil a culture where much is either unknown, or misunderstood, as well as provide opportunities to portray the empowerment of women.
