One of the greatest gifts American artist Liz Walinski gives her viewers is her unwavering ability to identify sublime, ephemeral beauty in the natural world. In her abstract renderings of clouds and natural elements, she seeks not so much to capture the visual image itself but rather the sensations, memories, and emotions elicited in response.
For Walinski, art is personal and meant to invoke a particular experience in the viewer. As she explains, “Art has the power to make one see things in a new light.”
Liz Walinski currently lives and works in Munich, Germany.
