Artist Miguel Otero Fuentes shows us the world from a new perspective, using thin slices of concrete to create a teetering globe. In CS 24 1 _ Las Fuerzas del Bien y el Mal, rough concrete shapes lean and balance on another to make a coherent whole.

Coarse and spare, the piece is characterized by the materials used as much as the empty space that surrounds them. In English, the title translates as “the forces of good and evil”. Otero Fuentes creates tension by leaving certain areas exposed, hinting at the ongoing struggle between two competing forces.
