The photography of Cuban-American, Rigoberto Diaz, explores space as a symbolic platform, generating reflections and questions about memory. Simultaneously, his pictures display an affinity for space and aim to help us better understand the confluence of the relationship between that space and ourselves.
His series, “Death Trucks,” captures the arduous journeys, harsh conditions, and emotional strife endured by many immigrants seeking a better life for themselves and their children across the border.
Diaz's work will be on digital display August 10 - 20, 2019.
