Taking a snapshot in time to capture what they see and sharing it with a greater audience is what photographer Wolf Spicer enjoys most about photography. Originally from New Jersey, Wolf has been interested in photography and has been working to develop their skills over the last ten years. A firm believer in taking time to see the beauty in the world, Wolf is most inspired by the natural world, buildings and places with cultural history, and subjects with a deeper beauty that might be overlooked by the naked eye.
Wolf has honed the art of micro photography, softening and freezing water shots, working with live subjects and profile shots as well as focusing in on and centering the subject being captured. As the artist continues to develop her work, they have expanded their eye beyond nature to capture a more diverse subject range. The artist feels that their attention to detail and the depth of their images improves with each photograph. They enjoy working with black and white photography, as well as water Shots
In the artist’s own words, “Stop. Take a moment to ‘see’ what you don’t see. Count to ten. Love life. Appreciate the beauty, the history of the world.”
