Artist Enrico Vucemillo’s passion for the arts began as a child, in the atelier of his grandfather, a painter and sculptor trained at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Under his grandfather’s guidance, he learned how to use materials and colors and impart symmetry and structure to compositions. Favoring pure pigments and oil paint, he seeks an idea of purity through forms. He translates memories and thoughts into signs and colors and meticulously deconstructs the initial image into a series of layered multicolored patterns. Through the essence and symbolic nature of images, he tries to capture snapshots of his inner perception, evoking visual representations of current or past experiences.
Enrico is an accomplished architect, designer, and painter originally from Padua, Italy. He earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture and a Ph.D in Design from the prestigious IUAV in Venice. After completing his studies, he collaborated with prominent designers in Italy and Germany. He was recently featured in the Atlante dell’Arte Contemporanea De Agostini 2021, the most authoritative contemporary art source in Italy.
