Spanish artist Rodolfo Regaño has been painting for nearly his entire life. He creates a variety of works in the styles of figurative realism, hyperrealism, pop, and surrealism. His works draw in elements of contemporary culture, historical painting, still life painting, everyday life, and street art. He allows the ephemeral to take life in his oil on canvas and board works. His works share the same enthusiastic energy that the artist holds for his craft. His work is wholly contemporary and incredibly interesting, with elements of cheek, wisdom, reflection, reverence, and wit.
Regaño studied at the Seville school of painting and the Cercle Artístic Sant lluc Barcelona. The artist is inspired by music, everyday life, historic art and culture, and the tradition of busking. Regaño has exhibited his work extensively in Barcelona, Western Europe, The United Kingdom, and the USA. He currently works in galleries in Barcelona and Madrid, as well as being a studio artist.
