French-Russian artist Misha De-Stroyev’s beguiling works capture the grandeur and enormity of the natural world. Working with predominantly landscape digital photography, De-Stroyev often immortalizes his world from an aerial perspective. Sweeping canals bordered by crisp geometric rooftop clusters, a lone surfer paddling into a crest of tumultuous emerald surf, or a football field unusually plastered amidst an untamed expanse of forestry and snow-capped peaks are all rendered with highly-saturated lucidity and a mastery of balancing both texture and composition. The artist is currently based in Paris.
