Not everyone is aware of the pervasive and serious nature of congenital heart defects in children and infants, but they represent the foremost birth defect in the United States. For this reason, support for the children and their families and for new research into the problem and its potential treatments is vital in our society. The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition is proud to support the Children’s Heart Foundation, donating 15% of its proceeds from the sale of exhibition artwork to this worthwhile and important charity. Artists who wish to donate an additional portion of their sale proceeds to this organization are welcome to do so.
