Sheetal Shaw

Art is Sheetal Shaw’s vehicle for personal renewal. Creating her paintings and sculptures, alike, in a slow, steady, and controlled manner; she incorporates an Indo-Persian design motif known as boteh; a Persian word meaning droplet, seed, or flower, symbolizing the fluidity of life and rebirth.

With interconnection being the most prominent theme in Shaw’s work, she creates narratives based around social psychology, applied arts, geography, and nature which become the origin of her sculptures and paintings.
