The uncanny photographs of Rodrigo Lopez Gomez turn everyday objects into mysterious illustrations of modern life. By arraying discarded furniture and household items in the streets, he creates a unique vision of the city, where the line between utility and trash is blurred. His photographs force viewers to contemplate their environment with a greater sense of self-awareness and scrutiny.
Rodrigo recently graduated from the International Center of Photography, and is a featured artist in the 2016 Chelsea International Fine Art Competition. He currently lives in New York City.
