Artist Martin Morales fills his frames with delicately painted lines that reach across the canvas to create soothing landscapes. Shades of blue, yellow, and red seem to bleed into one another as they depict a particular time and place.

In Horizon Lunar, we see a milky white sun lingering near the edge of a calm sea. The artist uses his signature lines to capture the nature of sunlight as it radiates across the earth. Neat and spare, Morales’s work speaks to the mysterious beauty of nature and our yearning to understand it.
