The abstract landscapes of Kelly Rae are thought-provoking and mysterious, seeming at once to be familiar and enigmatic. They are focus on both the static and the changing, exploring how shifting atmospheres can alter a place of space. “It is often as much about what is hidden within the mists and shadows as it is about what is in plain view,” she says.
Rae has been working as a full-time artist for the past twelve years, greatly informed by her education in interior design. She was born in Ohio, and currently lives and works in the small historic town of Canal Fulton.
