Christine L. Mace is a New York based artist, originally from Minnesota, who finds her voice behind the lens of a camera. As a social documentary photographer, she aims to observe how people engage or disengage with each other to better understand who we are as a society. Her work is deeply personal, derived from her own experiences in feeling overlooked and judged. Thus, she chooses to capture intimate moments of ordinary people in order to humanize them. She hopes for her work to encourage contemplation and conversation about lived experiences, tolerance, and how we function as a society.
