You may have heard that much of the Northeast is having a pretty cold past few days/weeks. New York City may not be as bad off as Boston, but it hasn’t exactly been Palm Beach, either. With kids getting frostbite and intense NYC wind ripping at your face, weather officials are recommending lots of layers. However, these sub-zero temperatures have nothing on Agora Gallery. It will take a lot more than the cold to keep us from bringing great art to NYC!
All day, we’ve had a steady stream of visitors coming in and out of the gallery to enjoy the exhibitions Degrees of Abstraction, Elemental Realms, Figuratively Speaking, and Project 13: Ghass Rouzkhosh / a Solo Exhibition. It doesn’t seem like New Yorkers can be hampered by any weather.
In celebration – or, well, recognition – of the freezing temperature, the gallery gals welcomed the day with some hot cocoa and cookies. After a few minutes indoors, you wouldn’t even know that it’s a winter vortex outside. We’ve got our heat on, our warmest sweaters and jackets, and bountiful tea to keep us all in good spirits.
