10:30-12:00 PM: TAKE IN THE HIGHLINE
To work off your morning feast, go for a stroll on the renowned Chelsea Highline, an elevated park that was built from an old railroad. There are art installations along the entire stretch. 12:00-1:00 PM: WARM UP & PERK UP

As much as we all wish it were Spring, Valentine’s Day is still supposed to be chilly, so after your walk, perk back up with a drink at Blue Bottle Coffee on 16th St. and 10th Ave. Grab a cup of individually brewed pour-over coffee. Don’t know the pour-over method? Find out how water is meticulously hand-poured over coffee grounds for each individual cup, and enjoy the bright, flavorful coffee that results from this old-school tactic.

1:30-3:00 PM: LATE LUNCH AT THE MARKET

Stop by the Chelsea Market for a warm bowl of clam chowder from the Lobster Place, a warm chicken pot pie at Green Table, and make sure to grab one of the incredible cupcakes from Ruthy’s Bakery & Cafe. They come decorated with fun characters and designs, like a simple yet beautiful rose. If you’re in the mood to make a purchase or two, stop by The Filling Station for specialty oils, vinegars, and salts or Buon Italia for authentic Italian ingredients.

3:00-5:00 PM: FREE DRINKS & ART

Join us at Agora Gallery from 3-5 pm on February 14th for free sangria and free art during our three wonderful exhibitions: Elemental Realms, Figuratively Speaking, and Project 13: Ghass Rouzhkosh/a Solo Exhibition. 9:30 PM: CUDDLE UP TO AN ART FILM

Grab your favorite blanket and snuggle up to watch a documentary about artists and love. Learn about British author Christopher Isherwood and American artist Don Bachardy, one of the first publicly gay couples in Hollywood (and with a 30 year age gap), or follow Maria Yoon, a Korean-American performance artist, as she spends nine years becoming Maria the Korean Bride, marrying in each of the 50 states in attempt to understand cultural institutions of marriage. Whatever movie you choose, lay back and enjoy the show. After the perfect Valentine’s Day, you deserve to relax!
