The staff of Agora Gallery hit the town last night and we ended up in Downtown Brooklyn, where gallery Registrar and Social Media Coordinator, Chiara Mortaroli, led us to Italian restaurant Forno Rosso.

Chiara is good friends with the Forno Rosso’s owner, Giuseppe Marrone, so we all received star treatment. With great drinks and even better food, we were happy to pass a good few hours in this beautiful, rustic pizzeria.

We headed down from the gallery, hopped onto a downtown local E, switched over at 14th Street to an express A train, and, a short walk from Jay St-Metrotech, at the doors to Forno Rosso. It felt a little like a school field trip, herding the group between trains and across streets, but it was certainly worth it to sample three delicious appetizers, two extraordinary pizzas, and the decadent Nutella-stuffed dessert pizza.

Our artists often comment that Agora Gallery is like “one big family” – and it certainly felt that way, sharing such a delicious multi-course dinner and each other’s good company after hours.

Thank you, Forno Rosso, for having us and treating us to such a fine dining experience!
