In response to the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the health and safety of the Gallery's staff and public, Agora Gallery will be temporarily closed beginning March 14th. We join many cultural institutions across New York City and the country who are also closing to help limit the further spread of the virus.

We will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate early next week. Please check back here and on our social media channels for updates. We look forward to welcoming our staff and visitors back to the Gallery soon.

Opening the Window is a group exhibition that explores that nuances between abstract and figurative works. Featuring eleven artists, the exhibition incorporates works in different media, showcasing landscapes, and well as works that alter the conventional framing of figurative objects. In this way, the exhibition includes purely abstract works that nevertheless demonstrate a fidelity to spatial perception and the communication of meaning. Agora Gallery was established by the late Miki Stiles, MFA, to provide opportunities to artists entering the global art market. Located in the heart of the famous Chelsea art district, the gallery occupies the ground floor of 530 West 25th Street.
