In response to the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the health and safety of the Gallery's staff and public, Agora Gallery will be temporarily closed beginning March 14th. We join many cultural institutions across New York City and the country who are also closing to help limit the further spread of the virus.

We will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate early next week. Please check back here and on our social media channels for updates. We look forward to welcoming our staff and visitors back to the Gallery soon.

The Figure and Unknown Places
July 7 - July 27, 2018 View Photos & Videos

The Figure and Unknown Places is an exhibition featuring twenty-six international painters and photographers exploring the connections between humans and the world we inhabit. Working between landscape painting and portraiture, the artists included reassess traditions and convey unique perspectives on timeless themes. Utilizing diverse visual languages, these artists provide fresh insight on engrained understandings of culture and nature, man and animal. Agora Gallery was established by the late Miki Stiles, MFA, to provide opportunities to artists entering the global art market. Located in the heart of the famous Chelsea art district, the gallery occupies the ground floor of 530 West 25th Street.
