Enrique Pitarch spent his life surrounded by the great pictorial traditions of Valencia, Spain, unconsciously being influenced by its numerous artists. His creative process is characterized by a realistic language that does not renounce matter or gesture. Having a pervasive interest in Freudian psychology has given Pitarch's work a depth of carrying a psychological burden, undertaken of
introversion, and exploration into what we carry inside; a search for questions that may have no answer.
Pitarch invites his viewer's mind to expand and hopes to inspire them to question. His work reflects the passage of time, untethered to any particular style and liberated from conformity; a return to authentic pictorial art.
