Born in Tianjin, China, Mayland is an established artist working in Europe.
She first received calligraphy lessons from her grandfather at the age of three. Since her graduation from the University of Beijing, she has lived in Australia, Spain, Germany and France.
Her unique works combine her Western and Eastern backgrounds and techniques originating in Asia, as well as Europe.
She has exhibited her work in galleries over France, Germany and Spain, and her paintings can be found in art collections in the USA, Finland, Germany, France and Spain, among other countries.
