A representational artist, Bill works almost exclusively in acrylic on canvas, a medium congenial to his improvisational style. He does not consider himself a "realist" painter, however, paraphrasing Pierre Bonnard's statement that he paints "from life but not in front of it". He is most at home working from his imagination on what he calls his "People Pictures", commentaries on today's world.

I am a self taught artist originally from Ireland but now living in Brighton in the UK with my husband.
Acrylics on canvas are my main medium but I also enjoy dabbling with the digital format and have recently delved into pastels and pen which has opened up a whole new world to me.
