| A representational artist, Bill works almost exclusively in acrylic on canvas, a medium congenial to his improvisational style. He does not consider himself a "realist" painter, however, paraphrasing Pierre Bonnard's statement that he paints "from life but not in front of it". He is most at home working from his imagination on what he calls his "People Pictures", commentaries on today's world. |
