Visit Our New Street Level Space

Agora Gallery is proud to announce the opening of our new street level exhibition space. Don’t worry - we aren’t moving away! The new space is located below our much-loved second floor gallery and will be a gorgeous, spacious addition. With high ceilings, a skylight lounge area and wide windows facing the street, this new space is the perfect venue for artists and art organizations. World-Famous Artist Inaugurates Agora’s New Street Level Space

The first show in Agora Gallery’s new street-level exhibition space will feature the works of renowned Chinese fingerprint artist, Zhang Baohua.  Baohua’s works have been publicized in over 900 newspapers, magazines, and television broadcasts around the world. His one-of-a-kind paintings are created by applying calligraphy ink to rice paper using just his fingers and palm.  The result are paintings that are impossible to replicate, imprinted with the unique texture and contours of the artist’s skin. Opening Reception: Thursday, October 16th, 2014, from 6 pm - 8 pm.

Beyond Borders: an Exhibition of Fine Art From Canada

The art in Beyond Borders shows precisely why Canadian contemporary art deserves to play a prominent role on the global stage. Easily to relate to yet possessed of the ability to gently nudge our thoughts and reactions onto subtly different tracks, these works are full of an almost irresistible charm.The exhibition takes place October 10-30, with an opening reception on October 16. Explore Artistic Vision at Agora this October

In George Tsatsos: Eutopia, the audience is given access to the dazzling, dynamic scenes created by a Greek artist who, though a lifelong painter, has only recently begun to share his work with others.Divergent Realities highlights the different ways in which artists relate to their perceptions of the world, both emotionally and creatively. Modalities of Expression focuses on the diverse approaches that artists take in order to give form to their own visions. Together, these exhibitions present a compelling introduction to the artistic process. The exhibitions take place October 10-30, with an opening reception on October 16.
