Agora Gallery - Annual Exhibition Information

We are now accepting new submissions for East Meets West: An Exhibition of Fine Art From Asia Tuesday March 6, 2012.

Since 1984, Agora Gallery, located in Chelsea, New York’s famous Chelsea art district, has been privileged to represent talented artists from all over the world. In “East Meets West” the gallery presents the remarkable work of contemporary Asian artists to the New York art world, giving art enthusiasts the opportunity to explore the considerable skill and passion held within these powerful works. Fully grounded in their cultural heritage, yet equally conversant with the potential of today, these artists produce highly memorable and intensely emotive creations.

Asian artists living in Asia or abroad are invited to submit their slides/photos, curriculum vitae, artist statement and price list for consideration. Space is limited, as only a select number will be accepted for this exhibition. Please note that Agora Gallery charges an annual fee for its representation and promotion services.

ニューヨーク・チェルシーに位置しているアゴラギャラリーは、1984年ギャラリー設立以降、世界各国の才能溢れるアーティストの方々の代理業務を長年に渡り承っております。ニューヨークのアート界に現代的なアジア人アーティストの素晴らしい作品を紹介するための展覧会“East Meets West”は、パワフルなそれらの作品に込められた多大なスキルや情熱を美術関係者や愛好家を含む各方面の方々にご覧いただく格好の機会です。アジア人アーティスト達が創り出すたいへん記憶に残る、そして強烈な感動を与える作品には、今日にも未だ根強く残る彼らの文化的な伝統が少なくとも存在しています。

アジア人アーティストの方であれば、在住地域を問わずご応募いただけます。応募希望の方は、作品画像（スライドまたは写真）、履歴書または略歴書、アーティストステートメントをご提出ください。また、アゴラギャラリーでは当ギャラリーによる代理業務ならびに宣伝業務のために、年間手数料をお支払いいただいております。予めご理解いただいた上でご応募いただきますようお願い申し上げます。尚、展示可能なスペースには限りがございますので、当ギャラリーによる審査に通過した作品のみが展示される入選展覧会となります。
