Agora Gallery News

Anna Rita Alatan, Francine Gravel, and Tamar Avni

Three not-to-be-missed solo exhibtions by three talented women artists are on view until November 25.  Francine Gravel’s paintings draw from Medieval, Mexican, and Egyptian art as they weave a unique tapestry of mythology and dreams. The artworks created by Anna Rita Alatan known as ARA appear almost paradoxical, possessing as they do both the impression of great energy and a feeling of serene repose. Israeli artist and lecturer Tamar Avni uses her photography to explore several issues including gender, politics, media, and culture. Image Credit: ARA, Lost in a Dream

Paintings Sculpture and Photography

In Illumination: an Exhibition of Fine Art Photography each piece is the result of talent, planning and the ability to grasp the moment - and the results pay breathtaking tribute to the process. The works in The Kaleidoscope of the Mind hold up a mirror to the world we see and feel, and reflect it back to us in a way that emphasizes its complexity and fascination. The exhibitions open on November 4 and close on November 25. The opening reception takes place on November 6. Image Credit: Erik Kerstenbeck, 1-162
