Texture and movement are the captivating forces in Quinn Stilletto's work. With few allusions to geometric shapes, Stilletto's free form demonstrates a subliminal discipline. Beneath the barrage of color and linear punctuation, there exists an order of allegorical and sometimes whimsical themes. With an extensive academic background in religion and theology, Stilletto is able to practice a unique form of anthropomorphism which animates his work. He establishes a dialogue with each piece at its inception and, like a conversation, it assumes a life of its own. Stilletto is described as one who has an ability to exist on several planes of reality simultaneously. His awareness transcends the moment and embraces the disparate consciousness which surrounds him.
