With the multilayered creation of her serene and striking landscapes, Jen Romnes' richly textured paintings capture the holistic complexity and delicate balance of nature. Using paint almost as a sculpturing tool to conjure her dramatic colors and forms, Jen evokes the many tactile qualities of her subject matter: the coolness of stone, the splintery bark of trees and the shimmering clarity of luminous ponds.
