Ruth Schreiber

Drawing on issues that emerged from the dawn of true Feminist theory in the ‘70’s, Ruth Schreiber’s work is a sensitive body of art that navigates its way through the complex flux of human life cycles.  Her works often revolve around her role as mother: birth, fertility, family, identity, memory and death.  Sculpting in a variety of media, Schreiber is dynamic in her use of materials, allowing her to explore feel and texture, which will be unique to each piece.  Having exhibited widely, Ruth Schreiber currently works and lives in Jerusalem, Israel.
