Self-taught Venezuelan artist Philippe Aoun Deladoëy, known as PAoun, has moved beyond oils, brushes and his palette knife and into the experimental digital realm. Inspired by both the real world and the inner world of his imagination, he seeks to share his vision of an abstract world through energetic works of art. “My artistic curriculum could be simply summarized by the intensity with which I am living my creative impulses,” he explains. His digital work is informed and influenced by his background in oils, but it is also something different and new. PAoun's mandala-like geometric digital paintings, together with his more organic pieces, share a strong understanding of composition and form. He experiments with bold color in his work, ranging from full spectrum creations to monochromatic pieces that focus more on value and contrast.
PAoun currently resides in his home country. After spending a large part of his life in business, he is now able to work on art full time.
