Flora’s unique works of art are a force of nature. They appear to have been born as simply and stunningly as a sunrise, taking shape from out of the ether. Vivid colors splash forth over an impasto surface, pushing and pulling our eyes around the composition. It is like peering through clear running waters, as natural shapes suggesting figures and plants appear and transform before our very eyes. Flora has dubbed this painterly style “Cosmogéologie”, a personal approach that channels the sensitivity of being with acrylic and mixed media in a fantastic multihued expressionist burst. Coinciding with her painting, Flora drafts poems and other texts, in the belief that visual art and writing, nature and humankind, are truly of one body. “I show the spirituality that nature gives to my questioning,” she explains, "in order to melt in the invisible light that my conscious thoughts are offering…”
Flora has been exhibiting her work internationally for over 25 years. She lives and works in the Toulouse region of France.
