Argentinian artist Esther Cruz infuses her art with a vibrancy and emotive fire which characterizes her colorful abstract expressionistic paintings. Cruz’s images are profoundly personal, and there is an intimacy in her configuration of colors and the way they move across the canvas. At first glance, her paintings appear spontaneous, but closer examination reveals a careful arrangement of color, line, and geometric form. Her emotive expressions reflect something deeply human, elucidating the ways in which we perceive and come to understand our inner emotional plane. Color is central here and is indeed the driving force of her work and the healing it offers to her viewers. As Cruz explains, “I believe that color influences the entire human body in a very positive way.”
Esther Cruz currently lives and works in Miami, Florida. She has exhibited her art in museums, galleries, art fairs and auctions all over the world including in Beijing, Madrid and Bogota, Colombia. She was awarded the Silver Medal at the International Women's Art Fair in Stockholm, Sweden and selected to create a mural for a children’s hospital in Miami.
