Christine Jaksch

The work of self-taught painter Christine Jaksch includes shattered circles and vibrantly jagged shapes which connect the immaterial world of her feelings and desires with the material world of acrylic paint, putty and palette knife. The artist plays with energy as she would her mediums, creating abstract representations of spirit and perspective through an experimental process which involves bringing her unique balance of positive and negative components to each canvas. Through her passion and spontaneity, Jaksch renders equally powerful emotions, expressing a rare and dazzling energy through her stunning color palette and rich textures.
