Press Release

Alina Alexandrovna is ardently demonstrative in her art-making, knowing no bounds in medium or form. Passion meets play in Alexandrovna’s seductive abstractions, alluring through an intoxicating blend of the real and the imagined. Digital art techniques are a tool for Alexandrovna to explore a plethora of subjects and shapes, and through them she exposes us to her inner self. “To be able to express my self through my art is as equally important for me as it is to breathe,” states Alexandrovna. Raised in the Ukraine, Alina Alexandrovna lives and works in Norway.

Artist Statement

I grew up behind the Iron Curtain, in a world where freedom and innovation were distrusted. Maybe because of that fact, my internal life blossomed even more. I knew that nobody could claim my inner secrets. Nobody could steal my blood of creativity. My secrets should be saved for the free people who unconditionally could value and share my world. The result is that art has matured to be a natural part of me. To be able to express myself through my art is as equally important for me as it is to breathe. My pictures are expressions of a freedom in mind and heart that we all should share. The less conventional and dogmatic the perspectives are, the more minds and hearts are released to move into spirituality. That creates the positive emotional energy we all need in our lives.
