| Avy was born in Rabat, Morocco where modern urban life effortlessly combines with ancient culture. His early love of painting with oils and pastels, sketching with charcoal, creating ceramic sculptures, and Tiffany's Lamps, led him to formal art training at Betsalel Art School in Jerusalem. Avy completed his higher education degree at the prestigious Ecole Corvisar in Paris, where he studied letter design and calligraphy.
