Artist Santosh More
...
|
| In previous work I was dealing with my inner senses but the sources were outside where my currant work deals with my outer world but the sources are inside. In my previous work I had concerned with my introvert experiences. In currant work I have tried to look outside which wasn’t important for me before. |

Sophy Bristol - Painter
...
|
| Born in Brighton Sophy is one of the most exciting young figurative painters working in London today. In her beautifully crafted paintings she explores the visually dramatic effects of certain temporal and atmospheric conditions on otherwise everyday scenes. As ever, light is of predominant interest to Sophy in her work, she continues to favour strong direct sunlight as it throws the outline of every object into sharp relief. Her work is regularly exhibited in London, New York and Cape Town. |

Ammons, Troy T. III - An Online gallery of painting
...
|
| Working with paint allows me to explore interesting subjects in a way that would not be possible with other mediums. I am constantly trying to create work that is unique in composition and style. In my most successful paintings, I try to let the paint develop its own form through a controlled loose manipulation of and very fast interaction with the canvas, developing depth and interest as the painting progresses. I also work with glazes, scumbling and and drybrush for more refined paintings. The working of the painting technique is usually fit to the subject and I prefer strong subject matter mostly abstract and surreal nudes and portraits, but I also enjoy still life painting. My goal in painting is to create a work that evokes an strong emotional response and you can’t just walk away from without forming an opinion about its content and meaning.
