Adam Crew

Adam CrewAdam Crew

Situated in the stylistic gap between cutting edge street art and slick fashion photography, the art of Adam Crew is dramatic and instantly accessible. Focusing on iconic individuals with varying degrees of fame and pomposity, Crew renders his subjects with ink on canvas in a high contrast, posterized approach, a technique that allows for a great deal of precision while retaining the delicious imperfections of handmade art. His figures gaze back at the viewers with expressions and posturing that define their deep-seated characters, ranging from inquisitive and brooding to bold and sexy.

Born and raised in the quiet suburbs of Burlington, Ontario, Crew learned early on to cultivate intrigue in his own terms. He graduated from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario before moving to the vibrant city of Toronto, where he further developed his choice working methods and distinctive style. Crew lives and works in Toronto

Patricia Brintle

Patricia BrintlePatricia Brintle

Patricia Brintle’s acrylic paintings are completely at ease with themselves. Her careful application of color is intentioned but uninhibited, resulting in free, inviting images that recall tranquil summer afternoons or soft evening breezes. Brintle includes just enough detail in her work to give viewers a sense of place and mood, but her main focuses are vibrant colors and expanses of luminously open-ended paint. Whether painting portraits, landscapes, or a marriage of the two, Brintle presents sublime moments that seem to emerge out of relaxed narratives. Her work emphasizes the importance of the present; the gravity of the moment transcends any past or future.

Originally from Haiti, Brintle merges both her Haitian heritage and her experiences with the United States landscape in her paintings. She intimately understands the joys and hopes that occupy each moment and the unimpeded, poetic mood of her paintings grows out of this understanding. Patricia Brintle currently lives and works in New York. Her award-winning paintings have been exhibited both privately and publicly in New York and Florida.

Berenice Michelow

Berenice MichelowBerenice Michelow

Berenice Michelow’s stunning works on canvas and paper provide relevant and meaningful commentaries on contemporary life with a blend of hyperrealistic and abstract styles.  By synthesizing her abstract roots with a new naturalism, Michelow crafts meaningful works of art which express undeniable political themes and socially aware messages.   When combined with the sheer virtuosity of her draftsmanship and skillful technique, Michelow’s works become a powerful document of the artist’s observations and emotions concerning the world around her.  By juxtaposing realistic subjects against abstracted backgrounds, Michelow gives her works a tenuous and poetic impression, as though envisioned from a fading memory.  As we peer into her works, we attempt to recapture the images within our collective consciousness, images imbued with the important issues of our past and present.

Internationally celebrated artist Berenice Michelow has shown throughout her native South Africa, Chile, and the United States and is included in a number of important private and corporate collections.  She currently lives and works in the United States.
