 
Award-winning artist, Leonardo Ciccarelli packs a great deal of grandeur into his handsome medium sized paintings. His works are situated on the border between full abstraction and impressionism with imagery influenced by natural vistas, hints of endless skies, haunting stands of trees, and rugged earth tones. The paintings are highly emotive, immediately providing his audience with joyful vibrations or quiet, meditative solace. His palette is expressive but beyond the beautifully paired colors, Ciccarelli permeates his painting with distinctive rhythmic strokes of his brush, which energizes and pulls our attention. We are looking through the eyes of the artist into a world of imagination and wonder. "My works are fleeting images," he states. "Like visions of disappearing quickly through the window of a train.
Ciccarelli’s education at the School of Art in Macerata, Italy where he studied under several leading Italian painters, helped to shape his creative path. Leonardo Ciccarelli’s works have been exhibited in Italy, France, Japan and the United States and are held in both private and public collections.
