Guglielmi Giovanni’s contemporary figurative style bears a distinctly impressionist sensibility and magical realist flair that is instantly attractive. His modestly sized paintings feature an Italian landscape adorned by the subtle charm of memory and the perfection of the pictorial. Sun soaked hills and valleys scooped out with rainbow pigments shine amidst small floral compositions and tasteful still lifes. Guglielmi Giovanni was born in Pietragalla, Italy and currently lives and works in Monteriggioni. In addition to his personal painting practice, in the past he has served as a creative instructor to elementary school children with special needs.
