Lala Ter-Abramyants

Lala Ter AbramyantsLala Ter Abramyants
Experiencing the art of Lala Ter Abramyants is an emotional journey that sweeps you into the canvas as you are moved by the vision and philosophy of this innovative artist.  Ground breaking technique, grand passion and sweeping movement grab the viewer; pulling them into the canvas in the same way that Art History's Icons have done in the past. In each painted canvas, Lala creates a third plane of dimension from the flat surface with the richly textural layers of paint. Inspired by nature, philosophy and her deeply spiritual beliefs, Lala's work has depth beyond mere representation; digging deeper, questioning, pondering and revolutionizing the medium itself. The work is usually a series of connected images building a view to Lala's perspective of powerful abstract concepts, whether it is the spiritual journey of life, love and destiny or the religious inspirations found in Kabbalah, music or the deeply emotional feeling of isolation and desire.

Born in Russia, Lala studied art at the prestigious Moscow Art Institute, now as an artist and an educator Lala is dedicated to educating the next generation of artists.
