Gaspare Di Caro

Gaspare Di CaroGaspare Di Caro

Space becomes medium in Fluxus performer-artist Gaspare Di Caro's works. Location and numeric coordinates are the basis of his art, meticulously measured by GPS and graphically portrayed through imagery, text, color, light, and performance. The numbers, especially Pi, become vital to his works, giving an order and sense of reason to the world. Working with a multitude of media, Di Caro’s visually arresting and analytical art is of the Locative Movement, exploring the multidimensional expression of space.

Born in Antibes, France, Di Caro now lives in Brasilia, Brazil.
