 
Vibrant and youthful, the paintings of Elise Francesca Fargnoli reflect her unique style and interpretation of the meaning of youth. Influenced by 60’s & 70’s art, fashion, and music, Fargnoli’s paintings convey a sense of vivaciousness and embrace a lively vigorous spirit. Predominately working with acrylic on canvas, Fargnoli uses abstract shapes and cropped images of the natural world, vivid colors, flowing brush strokes, and bold organic shapes to convey her ideas. Her titles are influenced by old song titles or lyrics Fargnoli felt helped to inspire young people. Fargnoli’s use of contrasting colors, juxtaposition of bold complementary colors, and dynamic use of diagonal compositions gives each work a feeling of excitement and fluidity. The same qualities mirror those of the always evolving, curious, and changing nature of today’s youth.
Elise Francesca Fargnoli studied art at the Pomfret School in Pomfret, CT and at Mount Holyoke College. She recently started a new clothing/accessories luxury collection based on her paintings, FRANCESCA JOY. Offices are in Palm Beach, FL and Pomfret, CT.
