Christina Dallorso Bush’s drawings reach behind people’s confident veneer, pulling out capricious narratives about the way we live. Her delicate pen and ink technique lends itself to surprises. The unforgiving medium impels her to remain flexible and embrace any unexpected marks. Her stories thus maintain free-spirited openness, offering involved visual narratives but not presuming to understand the complicated web of daily life. Viewers are left to find their own nuanced stories in each drawing.

Dallorso Bush has exhibited nationally. She currently lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
